Are you licensed?

These are the licensing and regulatory bodies in Queensland. There are also Australian Standards and Codes of Practice; but you have to pay for these, as they are not available online. We have these documents, so if you require our services, we can provide the standards for you to read.

What products do you use?

Termite Products

We use and recommend these products in treatment for termites and preventing them getting into your home.

Termidor

This is our number one “go to” product for both treatments for termites and termite barriers. Termidor’s warranty offers cover for structural damage up to $2 million.

Premise

A budget, non-repellant product, which we use as an alternative to Termidor in chemical soil barriers when overall cost is an issue.

Altriset

An excellent product for the environmentally and safety focused client. Altriset is a non-repellant which performs very well, with a mode of action that only affects a very narrow spectrum of pests, which includes termites.

Biflex

A repellant termiticide marketed by FMC Australasia. It comes with a 10 year, $1,000,000 warranty when applied through the “Eflex” program. Is a very cost effective product, best suited to termite barriers where no gaps can be guaranteed. We prefer to use it only in reticulation systems and where no drilling through concrete is required.

Sentricon

These are our product of choice when it comes to termite baiting and monitoring programs. We use them as a preventative measure only. Please look at our chemical barrier products if you want a warranted solution, as we believe baiting programs are only semi-effective.

Reticulation

A method whereby a pipe is installed in the soil around the client's property and is then filled with their choice of termiticide. The product is then distributed into the surrounding soil along the entire length of the pipe. It is extremely effective and requires less work (and therefore cost) to replenish than standard chemical soil barrier treatments.

Term Seal

A pre and post construction termite proofing system. They offer a wide variety of products including paint on membranes, sealant products, expanding foam, penetration collars and chemical impregnated sheet.

HomeGuard

A pre-construction system by FMC Australasia; including bifenthrin impregnated sheet, and penetration collars. The manufacturers offer a $1,000,000, 25-year warranty on new dwellings through the “Eflex” System.
